Platform policies

1. Terms and publishing

Use Arabian Security for lawful professional discussion. Provide accurate account information, protect your password and use an email address you control. You are responsible for submissions and for having the rights and permissions to share them.

You retain ownership of original work. By submitting it, you grant the platform permission to store, display, format and distribute it within the service for its operation and promotion of that submission. Advertising reuse or unrelated licensing requires separate permission. Removal and backup handling follow the operator’s approved retention policy.

Arabian Security may review, decline publication, restrict visibility, remove content or suspend accounts under these rules and applicable law. Publication is not endorsement. Articles may require editorial approval. An “Invited contributor” label indicates an editorial relationship, not professional accreditation or identity verification.

2. Community guidelines

No threats, harassment, impersonation, discriminatory abuse, spam, scams, unauthorized disclosure, malware, unlawful content, or infringement of copyright or privacy. Do not post confidential records, access credentials, sensitive operational vulnerabilities, or personal data without a lawful basis.

Do not make unsupported allegations about people or organizations. Distinguish facts, opinion and uncertainty. Nationality, location, a sanctions listing or a wanted notice must not be presented as proof of criminal guilt.

3. Editorial standards and corrections

Write original articles and summaries. Attribute sources, link to original publications, identify publication dates and relevant locations, and disclose material conflicts or commercial relationships. A link is not a license to copy text or images. Do not submit paid or third-party content without permission.

News is curated by editors in this release; no licensed conflict feed is connected. Material changes should be explained in the article text with a correction date. Authors can submit revisions; editorial staff can return work for revision or remove it with a reason. The source URL is not an endorsement by the source organization.

4. Reporting, moderation and appeal

Signed-in members can report posts, comments, advertisements and profiles. Reports are private to administrators and the reporter. Report counts alone do not determine a violation. Reviewers assess the context and can restrict content or membership, record the reason and notify affected members where appropriate.

Appeals can be submitted using “Request editorial review / appeal” or a report on your own profile. Account deletion requests use the profile’s data controls. The operator must provide an external complaint contact before public launch, including for people who cannot sign in. The platform is not an emergency reporting service.

5. Privacy notice

This version stores account identity, email, a password hash, profile information, submitted media, posts, comments, reactions, connections, saved reading, private notes, reading position, notifications, policy acceptance and moderation records. Signed-in members can see published posts and profile fields. Email is not displayed on other members’ profiles. Administrators can see email and moderation information.

Private notes and reading position are restricted to the owning account through application permissions. Hosting/database administrators may have infrastructure-level access. The operator must document retention, access procedures, backups and any external processors before public launch. No analytics or advertising trackers are installed by this package.

Reading position can be disabled in your profile, which clears stored history. You can clear history, remove notes, download your account data and request account deletion. Removing a post hides it from normal member views; moderation and backup records are not automatically erased. The operator must handle deletion requests against an approved retention policy.

The site uses an essential session cookie for sign-in, request protection and language selection. Closing the browser does not delete server-side account data. Email delivery uses the configured hosting mail or SMTP service. External source and advertisement links are opened only when you choose them; those destinations have their own policies.

6. Advertising and copyright complaints

Advertisements are labeled and show the advertiser’s name. Paid placement must not be disguised as editorial opinion. Administrators control placement and review reported ads. This release includes no tracking-based targeting or automated ad network.

Use the copyright report category for a rights complaint, identifying the content and the basis of the claim. The operator must publish a direct complaint contact and a documented response process before launch. Submitting a report does not guarantee removal or establish ownership.

7. Information and account limitations

Content is general professional information. It is not a substitute for qualified legal, technical or location-specific security advice. Source data can be incomplete or out of date. Account availability and feature operation depend on hosting resources and maintenance.

The two installation accounts are created by the owner and treated as owner-verified. Subsequent accounts require email verification and, by default, administrator approval. Administrative actions are logged in the application. There is no promise of uninterrupted service or verified credentials for every member.
